In order to keep all of its foragers safe, the 2021 Big Sur Foragers Festival is excited to announce this year’s festival will be held virtually with opportunities to help guests still “forage” from home.
The event will take place on Saturday, Jan. 23, during a Zoom presentation featuring noted mushroom experts and chefs, Chad Hyatt and Todd Spanier. Chef Hyatt will demonstrate how to prepare a multitude of dishes from his cookbook, The Mushroom Hunter’s Kitchen, while Chef Spanier will be foraging through the Mendocino forests, showing guests wild-growing mushrooms. The highly anticipated silent auction will also make its presence in the festival with an online store with items including artisan jewelry, paintings, gift cards for restaurants and services, and much more.
This 2021 Foragers Festival also hosts a raffle with a variety of top-notch prizes, like wines, gift certificates, dining opportunities, a shopping spree and more. To purchase raffle tickets for any of the items, complete this form and return it to the Big Sur Heath Center.
