As the latest addition to Hyatt’s growing Alila brand portfolio, Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas is scheduled to open in early 2021. The luxury property will be found in San Diego’s North County Coastal region.
Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas will be the first new-build Alila resort in the Americas and the second property in California, joining the Ventana Big Sur. The Encinitas resort will be a crafted luxury resort will a jaw-dropping beachfront setting. The guest experience will be centered around an overall feeling of “barefoot luxury,” providing relaxed vibes that speak to the town’s vibrant surf and beach culture.
The resort, designed by San Diego-based Joseph Wong Design Associate, will be home to 130 coastal- and garden-view rooms, including 16 suites and two deluxe Presidential Suites, full of natural coastal elements like wood and stone.
Guests will enjoy an oceanfront pool and an infinity-edge Jacuzzi; a signature ocean-view restaurant with a rooftop patio; Spa Alila, a world-class spa and wellness experience; locally inspired programming, including a partnership with local surfer and environmentalist, Rob Machado; and much more.
