Annual Luau at Kona Kai Resort & Spa

The Kona Kai Resort & Spa luau event is returning for its second year on Saturday, June 4, at 7 p.m. This is a family friendly event in San Diego, and guests of all ages are welcome to attend.
This year’s experience will include the highly anticipated debut of the resort’s new co-branded Lazy Lei pilsner in collaboration with local brewr Eppig Brewing. Guests will also have access to authentic cuisine with dish highlights including lumpia, Hawaiian macaroni salad, whole-roasted Kalua pig, spam musubi, ahi tuna poke, haupia cake, passionfruit cheesecake mousse, pineapple upside down cake and more. Taupou Samoa will take guests on an exciting excursion through the beautiful destinations of Polynesia- Samoa, Tahiti, Hawai’i and New Zealand – through traditional song and dance including Tahitian drums and fire knives dancing, all on the resort’s private beach on Shelter Island.
