California Avocado Festival

Peace, love and guacamole! Come celebrate Carpinteria Valley’s 36th annual California Avocado Festival to honor the delicious avocado and all of its glory on Oct. 1 and Oct. 2.

One of California’s largest free music events, California Avocado Festival features over 80 bands across four stages, including a kid’s stage. Come hungry and taste some avocado creations at the food venue in addition to the performances. Also, you can bring your furry friend to the free doggy daycare, which keeps pups amused and content while their owners enjoy the celebration.

This three-day event has some of the best cuisine, music and family-friendly activities in California and is one of the few remaining community festivals held in the heart of downtown Carpinteria. California Avocado Festival also collaborates with nonprofits and service organizations to raise money for community projects.
