Cocktail Exploration Series

Cheers! The Guild Hotel in the heart of San Diego will launch a new cocktail exploration series on Saturday, Oct. 22 from 7 to 10 p.m. with Batch 22, the award-winning new American aquavit. Guests will get to sample distinctive cocktails made with Batch 22 in the opulent bar of The Guild Hotel.

Batch 22 has a taste profile unmatched by any other spirit on the market and was the winner of the Platinum Medal and Specialty Spirit of the Year awards from the L.A. Spirits Awards and the New Orleans Spirits Competition in 2022.

The bar staff at The Guild have designed a curated drink menu with three cocktails for visitors to taste only during this occasion, using Batch 22’s distinctive flavors and fragrances as the foundation. The cocktails include Crush 22, made with Batch 22, lavender liqueur, lemon, honey and garnished with a lavender spear; Big Batch Energy, made with Batch 22, Hennessy, sweet vermouth and bitters garnished with lemon zest; and The Guilded Mule, made with Batch 22, vodka, ginger beer and lime garnished with mint.

All three Batch 22 cocktails, light nibbles from The Guild Bar, and the opportunity to engage with the creators of Batch 22 during a tasting demonstration when guests may try the spirit on its own are included in the $35 price of tickets. You must be at least 21 to attend this event.
