Indian Independence Day Dessert Special at ROOH Palo Alto

On Sunday, August 15, ROOH Palo Alto is commemorating Indian Independence Day, a day honoring India’s freedom from British rule and the anniversary of the separation of the sub-continents into two countries, India and Pakistan, by offering an exclusive one-day only dessert special.
The restaurant is paying tribute to this historical day by featuring the Coconut Barfi & Chocolate Opera Cake ($13) that is layered with thin layers of filter coffee cake, chocolate ganache, coconut barfi and covered with dark chocolate and hazelnut. It’s beautifully garnished with 24-karat edible gold leaf and served with house-churned milk ice cream.
