Saturday Night Prix Fixe at Greens

Greens’ Executive Chef Katie Reicher is teaming up with Lulu Berkeley’s Chef Mona Leena Michael for a special guest chef dinner on Thursday, Feb. 23, marking the return of the vegetarian restaurant’s popular Saturday Night Prix Fixe dinners.
First Spread:
Bread basket with labneh butter, olive oil and za’atar, green olive chimichurri – focaccia with sumac, sesame bread, Mana’eesh
Halloumi & Apple Jam with Black Cardamom
Main Spread:
Roasted Brussels Sprouts Slaw salad with Caesar Dressing, Za’atar Furikake Gravel
Falafel with rhubarb muhammara
Shakshouka-quiles with Harissa (tomato, garlic, fennel, onion, Villa Gerada brand harissa, poached eggs)
Desserts:
Baklava French Toast, Cookie Plate with Fruit
Chef Mona’s Lulu Berkeley menu is anchored in a robust bread program, featuring individual mana’eesh made with seasonal, local ingredients and baked-fresh daily pastries with spins on traditional flavors. Chef Katie and Chef Mona will incorporate that inspiration into their uniquely crafted menu.
In addition to Greens’ guest chef dinner in February, with others to come, as the restaurant has just reintroduced their popular Saturday night prix fixe dinner series, which was a mainstay at this iconic San Francisco restaurant for close to 20 years.
The dinner is $58 per person.
