Van Gogh-Themed Paint and Sip Event

JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE and The Painted Peach, an art and design studio based in Venice Beach, together announce a special “paint and sip” event on Thursday, July 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. The event is inspired by the immersive Van Gogh exhibition currently in Los Angeles and offers an opportunity for locals and visitors to recreate the Dutch Post-Impressionist painter’s most famous work of art, The Starry Night, in abstract form.
The painting session will be led by the studio’s founding abstract artist and designer, Amanda Renata. Since 2019, Renata has hosted numerous classes for groups and leading companies. For each class, she creates unique art inspired by her travels as well as her education in interior design and architecture.
For $100 per ticket, guests will enjoy a glass of wine and an instructed, two-hour painting session outdoors at the hotel. All materials and a canvas will be provided for the event. Additionally, Van Gogh-themed cocktails will be available for purchase.
The class will take place on the ground-level patio outside the hotel’s restaurant, Savoca. Valet parking is $10 for first two hours and $5 for each additional half hour. Self-park options available on and around the L.A. LIVE campus
