How did your love story begin? We met in March of 2018. An unexpected first date turned into spending four days straight with one another. We’ve been inseparable ever since.
Favorite thing about one another: Michael: I love his energy. No matter what type of day he’s having, TJ always brings joy, happiness and positivity to any room he walks into.
Travis Jay: Michael is inherently kind and has a natural ability to make anyone around him feel comfortable. His beautiful eyes and killer smile don’t hurt either.
Favorite date night: Michael: Date night at insideOUT (in Hillcrest).
Travis Jay: We’re obsessed with insideOUT! I also love our Jet Ski dates in the summertime.
Favorite tradition you have as a couple: Weekend getaways to Palm Springs.
What does your happily ever after look like? Our happily ever after is buying our dream home in Palm Springs and starting our own businesses (Travis Jay: menswear boutique; Michael: health and wellness center). We love goal setting, individually and as a couple, plus keeping each other accountable. Our promise to each other as partners is to continuously support one another and make the most of the time that we have as a unit. You only get one life, live it up with the people you love most.
