How did your love story begin? Julia: We met working in Yosemite NP. We were neighbors and became instant friends. Our love of the outdoors and group of friends we shared kept us friends for 10 years before we started dating. I suppose I always had a crush on Paul but he was too busy being a super model to be interested in dating me. We started climbing together again and working together in 2009, and the rest is history. We are celebrating our 10-year married anniversary this year and have two kids and a business together.
Favorite thing about one another: Julia: Paul keeps things interesting and keeps surprising me with
new life adventures.

Favorite date night: Getting to climb together or going out for good food. We’re pretty simple.
Favorite tradition you have as a couple: Traditions for us is spending holidays with our families. We try to go on a vacation with our family once a year with all our kids together. This last year, we all went to Costa Rica, and we would like to make that a yearly trip.
What does your happily ever after look like? Future goals are to keep building our business and being able to visit friends in far off places. It is a goal to take our kids on trips, showing them the world.
