Your biggest accomplishment and why: Having leadership administrative roles in healthcare as a woman and establishing my brand recognition in the aesthetic/cosmetic surgery sector as a board-certified anesthesiologist. I went through many hurdles as a female physician in a male-dominant specialty, anesthesiology/trauma.
The biggest obstacle you overcame: Achieving leadership roles in various entities and within healthcare as a female physician, even during residency training, was definitely a challenge and still is until this day when a woman is in a “man’s world.”
Someone who inspires you and why: Anna Wintour is a true inspiration for success-minded women. She represents what and how women should be: strong, determined, assertive, classy and unstoppable.
Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Follow your dreams, never give up and do what you love, as well as where your talents take you. Don’t be afraid to explore and learn through trial and error as we are all forever learning and growing.
