Favorite ways to spend your free time in CA: My wife and I have a lot of family over in the San Diego area and we like to visit often, spending our time on the coast, especially when it gets excessively hot here in the desert.
Your biggest accomplishment and why: I would have to say my biggest accomplishment has been the progression of my career in a short amount of time. I like to think if you put in the time and work really hard that good things will happen.
The biggest obstacle you overcame: I would have to say one of the biggest obstacles I overcame was last year’s overseed of 2021-2022 due to an excessive seed shortage and trouble with staffing through the pandemic.
Someone who inspires you and why: My father is my inspiration. He is the one who taught me how to work hard so you can accomplish your goals and have a good time while you are doing it.
Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Work hard at what you do, but make sure you set time aside to be with family.

Something someone would be surprised to learn about you: I originally got my start in the turfgrass industry working for the University of Arizona athletics program, and I have never looked back.
