Before Easter Sunday hops into town April 17, make your reservations at these California dining destinations for a brunch or dinner experience that is more pork belly and caviar than Peeps and jellybeans.

Rancho Bernardo Inn

Celebrate Easter Sunday at the Inn with AVANT’s Chef’s Four Course Prix Fixe Champagne Brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Menu highlights include cod rillette and brioche with caviar, an everything bagel and onions; citrus parfait and creme fraiche with Harry’s berries and honey; crispy pork belly and sherry-glazed onions with mustard caviar; lobster omelet and Osetra caviar and leeks; and more. Children can also enjoy egg baskets and photo opps with the Easter Bunny throughout the day.

Quattro at Four Seasons Silicon Valley

Executive Chef Andrew Whiteside has prepared a feast, available from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., featuring an appetizer buffet with salads, charcuterie, burrata and pastries, plus a choice of entrée (prime beef short rib, lobster agnolotti and osso buco, to name a few) in honor of the holiday. Pastry Chef Guillermo Soto’s dessert buffet includes over a dozen sweet delights. Plus, kids will enjoy an Easter egg hunt.

Executive Chef Patrick O’Sullivan will present an à la carte holiday menu featuring seasonally inspired brunch favorites, like avocado toast, organic egg dishes crafted with the finest spring produce, a seafood benedict, French toast, as well as additional fresh seafood and prime cut presentations. To round out the holiday feast, guests can enjoy a mimosa and Bloody Mary bar, and each table will receive a seasonal homemade mini loaf as a gift to take home.

On Sunday, April 17, Tangerine Room, the signature restaurant at The Westin Anaheim Resort, dishes up an Easter Buffet from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests can expect a seafood display, a carving board, divine entrees like herb-crusted lamb chops and a sweets table with endless holiday favorites.

Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Easter, indulge in a decadent buffet featuring the resort’s legendary raw bar, spring salads and carving stations, before grabbing a sweet treat at the dessert bar. While the adults enjoy a bellini, kids will have a blast with Easter-themed crafts on the lawn, a visit to the petting zoo or taking part in the Easter egg hunt (12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.)

Hotel del Coronado

Indulge in a celebratory Easter Brunch in the iconic Crown Room at The Del. A true feast for the senses, the lavish brunch features a chilled seafood bar, regionally inspired dishes, international cuisine, carving stations and a spectacular dessert bar. Brunch and resort guests are also invited to Easter Egg Hunt on Del Beach at 10 a.m. or noon. Each event will have sections marked for different age groups.

Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club

Celebrate Easter at Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club with special spring-inspired menus at the resort’s dining outlets on Sunday, April 17: Easter Brunch at AVEO Table + Bar (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.); Easter by the Sea at Monarch Bay Beach Club (10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., exclusive to resort guests and members); and Easter Brunch at Bourbon Steak Orange County (noon to 3 p.m.)

Executive Chef Aaron Obregon has curated a delectable Easter brunch experience, available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Sunday, April 17. The five-course prix-fixe menu features savory dishes like the traditional Spanish tortilla omelet, and sweet delights like the strawberry French toast with hibiscus-braised strawberry. Indulge in Ysidora’s Ana Cava mimosas or brunch cocktails while enjoying live entertainment and Easter Bunny visit for the little ones from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., plus egg hunts at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Pendry San Diego

To celebrate Easter, Provisional Kitchen at Pendry San Diego will dish up a special three-course prix-fixe brunch menu and live music from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Menu items will include wagyu skirt steak and eggs, Easter Cobb salad, orange and ricotta pancakes, mango-pineapple French Toast and more. Even more, the Easter Bunny will pay a special visit to families from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

On April 17, join Hotel Cerro’s Brasserie SLO to celebrate Easter with a thoughtfully-curated menu, with ingredients from the hotel’s own Edible Garden. The spring-inspired spread will feature croissant beignets, crab cake eggs benedict and orange tart. The holiday menu is served 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Cavallo Point

Murray Circle at Cavallo Point will be hosting a festive prix-fixe Easter Brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Or, for the ultimate springtime feast, visitors are invited to celebrate with a Grand Buffet Brunch, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., highlighting the area’s local agricultural bounty, hosted in the Callippe Ballroom. 

Manchester Grand Hyatt

Hop into Easter festivities at Manchester Grand Hyatt. Have a seat on the Seaview Breakfast Buffet Restaurant patio overlooking the marina and feast on fresh scrambles, made-to-order omelets, waffles, pastries and other breakfast favorites from 6:20 a.m. to noon. Then, join the Easter Bunny for an egg hunt from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Enjoy a special Easter dinner at Sally’s Fish House & Bar featuring Kobe flat iron steak and lobster ravioli and Easter-themed cocktails.

Kona Kai Resort & Spa

Shelter Island gem Kona Kai Resort & Spa will be hosting an Easter Brunch experience at Vessel Restaurant + Bar beginning at 11 a.m. Brunch will be offered a la carte with menu highlights including shrimp and grits, grilled lamb chops, pecan spoon bread and more.

Guests can celebrate Easter with a menu of oysters (best paired with Champagne and the oceanfront views), cinnamon and sugar cruffins and strawberry-ricotta pancakes. Available exclusively for the holiday, indulge in Chef JoJo Ruiz’s unforgettable Mexican shrimp and smoked grits, topped with poached eggs, tomato conserva and bagna càuda. 

San Diego Mission Bay Resort 

Covewood, the signature dining experience at the San Diego resort, will host a brunch buffet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Easter Sunday with a build-your-own Bloody Mary bar available as an add-on. Families can also enjoy an appearance from the Easter Bunny, an egg hunt on Garden by the Bay beginning at 10 a.m. and live music. 

Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa 

Estancia La Jolla will offer a brunch buffet at its signature restaurant, Mustangs & Burros, with bottomless mimosas and live music from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Easter Sunday.  

L’Auberge Del Mar

This Del Mar resort will host a brunch buffet at Adelaide, its signature dining concept, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with live music. Families can also enjoy a professional face painter, cookie decorating and an appearance from the Easter Bunny from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Henry

West Hollywood’s neighborhood staple restaurant, The Henry, will dish up limited-time, specialty brunch items for the occasion from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.: a giant cinnamon roll to share and Maryland crab cakes with tarragon remoulade and roasted corn salad.
