Located in the heart of San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter, Johnny WAHOO! Golf Bar is officially open and offering sports fans the ultimate entertainment venue complete with specialty cocktails and brews, virtual golf simulators and innovative fare.
From the hospitality powerhouse RMD Group, Johnny WAHOO! Golf Bar is the ultimate destination for both sports fanatics and dabbling enthusiasts alike. The bar boasts an impressive collection of interactive games, including full-swing golf, football, baseball and soccer simulators. The virtual golf program features 18 holes, with championship courses like Pebble Beach and Bandon Dunes.
“When we first started discussing this project, we knew Johnny WAHOO! Golf Bar would be the perfect addition to the Gaslamp,” says Mike Georgopoulos, Partner at RMD Group, in a press release. “The team at WAHOO! Brewing has created the perfect low-calorie lager, and our chefs have loved creating a menu that complements the flavors of WAHOO! for guests to enjoy while challenging friends to a friendly round in our interactive golf simulators.”
The menu pays homage to bar fare by taking staple bar favorites and elevating them with the help of a chef-driven menu by RMD Group Culinary Director, Wilfried Bergerhausen. The lineup features a variety of plates, including potato chip nachos, bison meatballs, glazed doughnut grilled cheese and more indulgent bites. Johnny WAHOO Golf Bar will also boast a lineup of ice-cold beers and large-format cocktails.
Johnny WAHOO! Golf Bar is open Sunday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 12 a.m. and Friday and Saturday from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m.
