New Tenants at City Center Bishop Ranch

City Center Bishop Ranch has welcomed three new destinations into the heart of Downtown San Ramon, including Marugame Udon, Sprinkles Cupcakes and PREP. Each new tenant brings its own unique offerings to the neighborhood.

The first to open made its debut in early March: the world’s largest noodle concept, Marugame Udon. The noodle spot is famous for its authentic Japanese Sanuki-style udon and crispy tempura. Each dish is carefully prepared from an open theater kitchen that allows guests to watch their dishes come to life. Each noodle is handmade using the Kagawa Prefecture method, a traditional Japanese method dating back centuries. This is the first location in the United States, with its home location set in Tokyo.

“We’re making a splash at City Center that we know the foodie community will appreciate with our beloved noodles and pairing it with a vibrant atmosphere that will truly resonate with everyone,” says Alonzo Cudd, chief marketing officer at Marugame, in a press release.

After opening with its famous cupcake ATM, Sprinkles Cupcakes has brought its premium, freshly baked cupcakes and other sweet bites to the Bay Area. The spot takes up 1,200 square feet of space, with a one-of-a-kind partnership with Patelco Credit Union, combining the bakery with financial services via a community room shared with the bank.

The last to join the trio is PREP. Located right next to On the EDGE, the spot is a luxe, full-service salon offering color, styling services, cuts, event services, makeup, blowouts and nail services. The studio is currently taking new clients and bookings for events.

“Our primary goal is to bring only the finest in Bay Area favorites and national brands to San Ramon,” said Alexander Mehran Jr., president and chief executive officer at Sunset Development Company, in a press release. “Marugmae, Sprinkles and PREP choosing City Center to make their San Ramon debut speaks to the standard of esteemed partnerships we’re building to create the ultimate cultural core of the city.”
