Hotel Ynez to Open in Santa Barbara Wine Country

Hotel Ynez is set to open in late November at the crossroads of Solvang and Santa Ynez in Santa Barbara wine country. The boutique hotel is from the creators of Skyview Los Alamos.

The highly anticipated Hotel Ynez, from Nomada Hotel Group, can be found on two private acres studded with majestic redwood, oak, pine and Madrone trees, fire pits, and a rustic outdoor pavilion for nights under the stars.

Hotel Ynez is created from the footprint of the former Meadowlark Inn, which underwent a full-scale renovation and a complete interior redesign. The new outpost will reflect the western heritage and native roots of the region, with 18 spacious guestrooms.

The rooms will feature private stone-encased patios, each outfitted with hand-woven hammocks and handcrafted Adirondack chairs, and interiors outfitted with Matouk bedding, comfortable club chairs, vintage vanities, hand-painted tile and local art. Some suites will even include their own hot tubs and fire pits.

Visitors can expect to start their days with a breakfast of house-made granola, fruit, juices, fresh-baked goodies and other deliciousness and to take in the sunset with wine and charcuterie. Plus, Hotel Ynez celebrates the region’s famed Santa Maria BBQ heritage with specialty dinner kits packed with steak, burgers, and seasonal veggies delivered for guests to prepare on their own Weber grill.

Rates at Hotel Ynez start from $209 per night including daily breakfast and access to hotel amenities, like electric bikes for exploring. For more information about Hotel Ynez, visit www.hotelynez.com.
