How do bottomless mimosas, build-your-own pancakes and waffle boards (complete with sprinkles and whipped cream) sound for an Easter spread? Here are 15-plus ways to celebrate Easter Sunday (April 4) in the most scrumptious way possible–with egg hunts and appearances by the Easter Bunny, too.

Located in Downtown San Juan Capistrano, Inn at The Mission San Juan Capistrano offers a lovely Easter getaway for families and friends to enjoy this spring. Executive Chef Aaron Obregon has curated a delectable, prix-fixe Easter brunch experience, available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests can also indulge in bottomless Ana Cava Mimosa offering for $20 per person.

Spend Easter at one of Rancho Bernardo Inn‘s alfresco dining venues, including an appearance from the Easter Bunny! AVANT’s four-course prix-fixe Champagne brunch, taking place 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., will come with bottomless Charles Sparr Brut sparkling wine; Aragon Ballroom’s Easter celebrations will bring smiles to all with Easter baskets for the kiddos and a special visit from the Easter Bunny, along with live music by Kevin James O’Brien (seatings for the four-course brunch are 10:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.); and the Mediterranean-inspired Veranda Fireside Lounge & Restaurant will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner a la carte menus for guests to enjoy among golf course views.

Serēa Coastal Cuisine

Located at the iconic Hotel del Coronado, Serēa Coastal Cuisine invites you to enjoy a beachfront Easter brunch with a sea-to-table experience. Standout seafood dishes including a daily selection of oysters (best paired with Champagne and the oceanfront views) to enjoy on Serea’s expansive outdoor patio. This Easter Sunday, Serea’s specialty Easter menu includes build-your-own pancakes with toppings like fresh berries, chocolate sauce and vanilla-pineapple whipped cream to build your own delicious masterpiece.

The iconic cliffside Laguna Beach restaurant, Las Brisas, offers a three-course dine-in-only Easter Brunch for $72 per person from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on its patio and extended outdoor dining area. The main course includes options of a crab scramble, steak and lobster enchiladas, lamb chops, prime rib and much more.

Join Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa in celebration of the Easter holiday with an array of brunch and lunch offerings, among the resort’s beautiful outdoor setting. Enjoy a three-course brunch menu (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.) and lunch menu (1 to 3 p.m.) served with sangria, alongside a decadent all-day seafood station in the resort’s open-air tented Pony Camp, complete with cabana-style seating, fire puts, cozy lounge spots and casual dining tables. AVEO Table + Bar at Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club

Celebrate Easter at the new Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club with special spring-inspired menus at the resort’s dining outlets. At AVEO Table + Bar, enjoy an al fresco lunch from noon to 4 p.m. and dinner menu from 5 to 9 p.m.; Bourbon Steak Orange County will offer its very first brunch this Easter, served from noon to 3 p.m., with dinner available from 5:30 to 9 p.m.; Monarch Bay Beach Club dishes up brunch specials from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and an all-day menu from 3 to 9 p.m. (paired with live music with the ocean in the background); or across the Grand Lawn, delight in an elegant family-style three-course Easter Brunch service with live music with seatings at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Baja-inspired SOL Mexican Cocina in Playa Vista and Newport Beach dishes up its beloved weekend brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.—whether at home or at SOL for limited indoor and outdoor patio dining. Highlights include SOL’s Crab & Shrimp Benedicto and house-made Bloody Mary.

The Front Yard at The Garland in North Hollywood dishes up a three-course Easter brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The expansive outdoor patio will offer guests a safe experience and a beautiful spot to dig into shrimp ceviche tostada, golden beet salad, yuzu avocado toast, lobster French omelet and Nutella crepes with berries and vanilla bean cream.

Solita Tacos

Brunch potato nachos? Yes, please. With locations in Valencia and Huntington Beach, Solita Tacos celebrates Easter with a laidback brunch–Southern California style. Its popular weekend brunch (including the aforementioned nachos) is available on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for takeaway or delivery. Pair you meal with a rainbow mimosa.

Enjoy Easter brunch at Provisional Kitchen, Cafe & Mercantile at Pendry San Diego from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The menu features a maple waffle sandwich with pork sausage, strawberry crepe cake and an epic ostrich Easter egg. Sourced from local farms in Escondido and Santa Barbara, the ostrich egg dish is fit to feed a two- to four-person pod and includes one large ostrich egg (equal to 16 chicken eggs!) served with pesto potatoes, bacon, toasted sourdough and roasted red salsa (priced at $120). The menu will also feature a kid-friendly Easter Waffle Board with sprinkles, M&M’s and more.

Sweet Lolli

The bunny is going to be a bit busy, so let Los Angeles-based Sweet Lolli do the work this year. Sweet Lolli offers too-cute treats for any occasion–including Easter. The Easter Bunny candy board, available in extra-small to large sizes, includes classic springtime treats and can even feature a special message written in sweet candy letters.

On Easter Sunday at 11 a.m., Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa will serve an impressive three-course family-style menu. Plus, back by popular demand, the resort will host traditional children’s Easter egg hunts for hotel and restaurant guests on the front lawns Easter Sunday morning: 9:30 a.m. for ages up to 7 and 10:30 a.m. for ages 8 and up. The Easter Bunny will hop by from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. 

Westfield North County and Westfield Plaza Bonita hosts the signature Easter photo experience, in partnership with Cherry Hill Programs, at the Easter Bunny Enchanted Spring Gardens. (There will be safety precautions that maintain social distancing requirements.) The Easter Bunny will be at both locations until Saturday, April 3, and packages start at $34.99. Reservations are recommended and can be made here for North County and here for Plaza Bonita. 

At Westfield UTC, the Golden Egg Hunt will take place the week leading up to Easter Sunday, from Monday, March 29, to Saturday, April 3. Each day, a golden egg will be placed in a different location across the center and the first 25 shoppers to post a picture on their Instagram Story, tag @WestfieldUTC and head to concierge to show receipt will be gifted a special surprise. There will be 175 lucky winners.
