Nixo Patio Lounge at E-Central Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles, which just made its debut this summer, has launched its mouthwatering menu with a variety of craft cocktails, shared plates, wood-fired pizza and delicious entrees.
Led by Executive Chef Frank Gutierrez, Nixo Patio Lounge’s menu pulls inspiration from the well-known local culture with updated American staples. The restaurant is found on the second floor of E-Central Hotel and offers an indoor-outdoor space overlooking L.A. Live, ESPN Zone and Staples Center. “When creating the menu, I focused on embracing the classics while complementing the base ingredients with some exotic flavors, such as epazote from Southern Mexico, that will give an aromatic taste to its paired dish,” says Gutierrez, in a press release.
Menu favorites include the wood-fired pizzas, especially the Calitalia, a blend of Mission fig, dolce gorgonzola, wild arugula and prosciutto, and Tandori chicken skewers. To drink, the Not So Old Fashioned is a quirky twist on a classic, while the Lemongrass Ginger Martini is a smooth and zesty blend of Deep Eddy Infused Lemongrass Vodka, ginger liqueur, crushed mint and fresh lemon juice.
