Center for Community Solutions, a San Diego-based nonprofit that provides prevention and intervention services for survivors of sexual and intimate partner violence, brings back its Bridging Hearts Program holiday drive.
Via the Bridging Hearts Program, Center for Community Solutions is accepting gift card donations for survivors of relationship and sexual violence so they can purchase gifts for their families this holiday season. In fact, more than 90 percent of the nonprofit’s clients qualify as low-to-moderate income, and those recovering from the trauma of sexual assault and relationship violence often experience feelings of hopelessness and loss.
The goal of the Bridging Hearts holiday drive is to help 100 families with an average of $100 in gift cards per household. Every donation of $25 will help one person the waiting list, and all donation amounts are accepted and appreciated.
Gift cards may be dropped off at the Pacific Beach office located at 4508 Mission Bay Dr., San Diego, CA 92109. Call 858.272.5777 to set a drop-off time to ensure sufficient staffing on-site to receive your gift cards. Donors may also make a contribution to Center for Community Solutions’ Bridging Hearts online at www.ccssd.org.
