Ice at Santa Monica 

Fifth Street and Arizona Avenue have been taken over and transformed into a winter wonderland, creating the perfect destination to get your ice skating on. The rink will be open daily, from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. (and 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday), until Jan. 15, with an oversized rink to skate, holiday music, festive light displays and concession stands offering handmade pizza, gelato, specialty hot chocolate and more indulgent bites. Offering the hottest place to chill and glide, Pershing Square Holiday Ice Skating is open daily until Jan. 7. The space is the largest rink in all of L.A. and will feature live music, nighttime skating, holiday decor and an enchanting good time. From now until Jan. 1, visitors can enjoy oceanside ice skating, in addition to hot chocolate and other indulgent sweets, cozy fire pits, holiday music, themed nights (like Mariah Carey tribute nights!), festive cocktails and more. Irvine Spectrum Center will be hosting its annual Skating Under The Stars this winter season, offering a dreamy destination to skate, catch a bite to eat and get some holiday shopping done. Known as one of the best locales to ice skate in Los Angeles, the rink will be open daily until NYE, with varying hours depending on the day. Tickets are $25 per person, $23 for those who bring their own ice skates and $21 for children, ages 3 to 10. Bundle up, and check out the annual LA Kings Holiday Ice at L.A. Live. The exciting event, presented by Coca-Cola, will run until Dec. 31 and is open daily to the public. General admission is $25 per person and $20 for children, ages 6 and under.
