A Day at Mr. C Beverly Hills Pool with ResortPass

In Los Angeles, we’re afforded an endless summer filled with sunshine, cocktails and pool days at resorts, thanks to ResortPass. There are hundreds of incredible hotels and resorts in Southern California, and ResortPass lets you enjoy pools, spas and amenities as if you’re just visiting for the weekend. In fact, ResortPass provides access to 600 hotels in 200 cities and 30 states.

In the middle of September, we headed over to Mr. C Beverly Hills–just steps away from Rodeo Drive–for a day of poolside relaxation that exuded old Hollywood glamour with a European twist.

ResortPass allowed us to choose from three options: a Day Pass, Daybed or Classic Cabana. The Day Pass includes a seat at the hotel’s first-come, first-serve lounge chairs, poolside food and drink service from The Mr. C Yacht Club, towels, complimentary Wi-Fi and discounted valet parking for $11. We chose the Daybed, which includes everything the Day Pass has to offer for up to four people, plus a large, comfortable daybed and complimentary still or sparkling water.

When we arrived on a Sunday afternoon, it was a high of 78 degrees and gorgeous outside. When you walk into the pool area, you see three large cabanas and many rows of different kinds of lounge chairs. Setting your eyes on the pool and the daybeds behind, you immediately feel a sense of relaxation. Visiting after tourist season has its benefits, too; we were among very few people at the pool that day.

Mr. C offers a variety of delicious bites and refreshing drinks to enjoy while you’re lounging by the pool. We chose the signature Mr. C Cocktail, made with fresh mandarin, lemon juice, Svedka and Prosecco Cipriani. The combination was fresh, bubbly and a little tart. perfect for sipping on a warm day. We also tried the Cipriani Royale, made with Belvedere Peach Nectar, peach puree, citrus oil, crème de peche and prosecco. This sweet concoction reminded us of an Italian vacation.

Who knows Italy better than Italians themselves? The Mr. C Hotels brand is the brainchild of Ignazio and Maggio Cipriani, the descendants of Giuseppe Cipriani, who opened the iconic Harry’s Bar in Venice, Italy, in 1931. Mr. C Beverly Hills has been delighting guests since it opened its doors in June 2011.

The pool at Mr. C is open every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; food and drink service from noon to 6 p.m.
