The highly anticipated Conrad Los Angeles is now open, marking the first California property for Hilton’s Conrad Hotels & Resorts. The fresh property is anchored within The Grand LA, a new destination in Downtown Los Angeles for shopping, dining and entertainment.
The 305-room hotel is designed by legendary architect Frank Gehry with interior design from Tara Bernerd & Partners. The atmosphere is chic, calming and seductive, showcasing incredible local works of art that have been curated in collaboration with Judith Tatar of Tatar Art Projects. A design standout: the arrival bar, made out of polished and glazed molten lava that is 11,000 years old.
The seven-room, 7,000-sq.-ft. Conrad Spa Los Angeles is led by director of spa Alina Medyanikova and spotlights a new boundary-free wellness concept. Spa-goers can look forward to innovative treatments and cult-favorite beauty brands, like CODAGE and Augustinus Bader.
Conrad Los Angeles also welcomes two original food and beverage concepts from Chef José Andrés and ThinkFoodGroup. San Laurel, on the 10th floor with views of the Walt Disney Concert Hall, features dishes rooted in Spain with a California twist while Agua Viva is a see-and-be-seen rooftop restaurant for small plates and cocktails. On the property’s roof deck, enjoy the Airlight pool deck with a vibrant menu of handheld bites (even house-made Push Pops!), creative cocktails and stunning views. Lastly, SED honors the spirit of the desert and ocean alongside popular spirits.
