Frontwave Arena is set to open on Sept. 17, ushering in a new era of entertainment in San Diego. The new state-of-the-art sports and entertainment venue will host a diverse lineup of events, including music performances, comedy acts, family shows, and community gatherings.

Frontwave Arena is gearing up to host six home games for the San Diego Clippers during the inaugural season in Oceanside. The San Diego Clippers, the LA Clippers’ G League, will kick off its first game in San Diego on Nov. 8, with the full season schedule set to be announced in September. The LA Clippers announced earlier this year that the G League team would relocate to Oceanside and rebrand as the San Diego Clippers, beginning their 2024-2025 season at Frontwave Arena. This move marks a homecoming for the NBA team, which previously played in San Diego from 1978 to 1984.
“We can’t wait to kick off the San Diego Clippers season at Frontwave Arena on Nov. 8 and officially welcome Clippers fans back to San Diego,” says Josh Elias, co-founder and CEO of Frontwave Arena, in a recent press release. “After it opens this summer, our brand new arena will host 24 San Diego Clippers home games this season, and we’re thrilled to build a new home for Clippers basketball in Oceanside.”
Fans can look forward to exciting San Diego Clippers game dates at Frontwave Arena on Nov. 8, Dec. 29, Jan. 9, Feb. 27, March 1, and March 14. Season tickets and courtside seats are available for purchase, with group deposits offering discounted pricing and additional benefits. Single-game tickets will be for sale in August, with the ability to sign up for presale notifications.
