Los Angeles March Madness 2022

March Madness 2022: How and Where to Celebrate in Los Angeles

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, then you already know—March Madness is in full swing. And whether your favorite college basketball team is on their way to the Sweet 16 tournament or you’re just on the lookout for some great happy hour deals at your local sports bar, there are more than a few memorable ways to celebrate the season.

Here’s exactly how and where to kick-off March Madness 2022 in Los Angeles.

Sure, you can take the classic route and pull up to the sports bar for a chance to watch the big game with an even bigger crowd. But there are also plenty of unconventional and still totally celebratory options, too.

Pull up to USC’s March Madness party of the century on Saturday, March 26, at 10 p.m. for a chance to immerse yourself in the fun of a college party environment—made even better by the school’s notable success in previous Sweet 16 tournaments.

Perhaps those thrilling college party days are behind you and your looking for something a bit more tame. Malt Madness 2022—El Segundo’s official beer and wine festival—is a great, more mature way to quite literally get in the spirit of the March Madness season. And it’s all going down at the El Segundo Rotary Club from 5 to 10 p.m. on March 26.

Who says March Madness has to be all about sports? At Third Wheel Live’s Midnight Madness Comedy Show, visitors can escape for an evening of laughs (even a sports joke or two) and great memories all in the heart of Los Angeles—and inside the Old Charlie Chaplin Studios, no less.

Maybe the big game isn’t just relative to sports—Dave & Buster’s skee ball can get pretty competitive, after all. And AREAA OC is hosting a special March Madness member’s association event at the Irvine Dave & Buster’s—where members and other guests alike can get their game on and indulge in some delicious food while they’re at it.

If you’re looking for a great spot to catch all of the season’s biggest games, Los Angeles (unsurprisingly) has more than a few sports bar gems.

Glendale’s own Greyhound Bar & Grill has been hailed as one of L.A.’s best sports bars—known for its plentiful TV selection and honey Sriracha wings.

Border X Brewing is where NCAA tournament games, beer and great food come together. Plus, visitors can celebrate the Sweet 16 celebration by indulging in one of the SoCal spot’s 16 beers on tap.

And if you’d rather take in the March Madness celebrations from within the comforts of your own home, MOD Pizza even has a treat for you—and it comes in the form of pizza, no less. Diners who order three pizzas or salads from the restaurant chain for their own March Madness viewing parties, will be gifted a free pizza or salad on the house.
