One of the hottest entertainment districts in San Diego, One Paseo, has announced two new dining destinations will join its collection in the new year, in addition to a brand new remodel of the local favorite, Marrow Fine.
San Diego’s One Paseo is one of the go-to destinations in Del Mar for its well-known collection of elevated restaurants, local boutiques and venues for major events. It is one of the most popular gathering places for locals and tourists alike, and luckily for them—the area is getting some new additions to its stacked lineup.
Joining the roster of dining destinations are two new concepts: South of Nick’s and Ramen King Keisuke. South of Nick’s will make the first debut when it opens in January of 2023, located on the north end of One Paseo with an outdoor patio. The spot is a Mexican-inspired concept, offering shareable bites and mains like the Birria tacos, seafood enchiladas and the El Jefe Burrito. In addition to the Latin fare, the restaurant will boast a margarita lineup with various unique flavors like watermelon, cucumber and toasted coconut.
The fast-casual ramen restaurant, Ramen King Keisuke, will be the next to open in the spring of 2023 on the west side of One Paseo’s plaza. The chain stems from Singapore, where award-winning ramen chef Keisuke Takeda curated the menu. The ramen is famous for being the best in Japan and is now arriving in San Diego. Some of its most popular dishes to be featured include the Tonkotsu Broth Ramen, made with bone broth that has been boiled for over 10 hours to ensure that the flavors are fully absorbed and melded together in the dish, resulting in a luscious, silky-smooth bowl of the most satisfying ramen soup.
Despite no current opening date, San Diego-based Marrow Fine will be closing its doors to remodel its flagship store in January 2023. The spot is commonly known for its celeb collaboration with Machine Gun Kelly and its lineup of eccentric jewelry collections. The new site will feature a luxe design, with elevated monochromatic case lines, blush hand-plastered walls and a new, Insta-worthy art installment.
