From after-hours events at Disneyland to weekend wine getaways to some of the longest-running parades in the nation, save the date for these Pride events in California in celebration of love and allyship.

June 8: LA Pride in the Park

Los Angeles

Famous for being one of the first cities in the United States to host a permitted Pride parade, LA Pride in the Park is back at LA State Historic Park. The fest will feature headliners like Ricky Martin, Jojo Siwa, MUNA and Tokischa, all taking to the massive 80-ft. stage.

June 9: 2024 LA Pride Parade

Los Angeles

One of the largest events to help locals celebrate Pride Month locally is the 2024 LA Pride Parade. The event is the longest-running Pride parade in all of the United States and, like previous years, is free and family-friendly. The best parade-viewing spots are along the middle of Hollywood Boulevard or on Highland, opposite the ABC7 broadcast area. Step-off is at 11 a.m. and is followed by the LA Pride Block Party which will feature performances, music, a street fair, food trucks, activities and much more for everyone in your group.

June 15: Catalina Island Pride Celebration

Catalina Island invites the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies to the annual Catalina Island Pride Celebration on Saturday, June 15. The main event will take place at Wrigley Stage in the center of Avalon, and event-goers wille enjoy live entertainment, a Pride walk and a late-night after-party at the Chi Chi Club. The historic Catalina Island Casino will also glow with rainbow colors to showcase the island’s love and support. PULP VIXEN will headline this Pride event in California.

June 18 and June 20: Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite

This joyous after-hours Pride event in California will feature short wait times for rides, character experience, special entertainment and, of course, endless Disney fun and magic. The event will take place on June 18 and June 20 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

June 29 and June 30: San Francisco Pride Celebration and Parade

San Francisco

The San Francisco Pride Celebration and Parade is one of the largest LGBTQIA+ gatherings in the nation. While San Francisco Pride hosts events all month long, Pride Month culminates with a parade on June 30, kicking off at 10:30 a.m., followed by an exciting San Francisco Pride City Hall Party from 1 to 5 p.m. Celebrity Grand Marshal Billy Porter will be appearing at the party before taking the stage as the San Francisco Kaiser Permanente Main Stage Headliner.

July 19 to July 21: Gay Wine Weekend

Sonoma County

Join Out in The Vineyard for a luxurious three-day weekend wine retreat in Sonoma County. July 20 and July 21: San Diego Pride Parade and Festival

San Diego

The annual San Diego Pride Parade is the largest single-day civic event in the region, drawing more than 250,000 cheering supporters of the LGBTQIA+ community. The parade begins at the Hillcrest Pride Flag at University Avenue and Normal Street at 10 a.m. on July 20, and heads west on University Avenue, turns south on 6th Avenue, turns left onto Balboa Drive and ends at Laurel Street – where revelers will find the entrance to the Pride Festival. The Pride Festival, taking place from 11 a.m. on July 20 to 9 p.m. on July 21 at Balboa Park will spotlight performances from more than 100-plus artists and several entertainment zones.
