Maki Rolling Class

$175Uchi West Hollywood has partnered with New York Times bestselling cookbook author and influencer Carissa Stanton for a Maki Rolling Class on Aug. 22.
The restaurant also partnered with Stanton, known for her beloved Instagram @broccyourbody, to create an exclusive Bluefin Akami Makimono Roll, featuring a fresh and seasonal combination of strawberry, pickled ginger sprouts, crispy Tokyo negi, and XO vinaigrette. The roll will be available at Uchi for $22 from Aug. 23 to Sept. 30, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting No Kid Hungry.
Stanton will lead the Maki Rolling Class on Aug. 22 alongside CDC Joel Hammond, guiding an intimate group through each step of crafting the roll, sharing techniques and culinary insights to help attendees master the art of maki rolling. Afterwards, guests will indulge in a 10-course omakase dinner featuring Uchi classics and seasonal tastings.
Tickets are now live and can be found here for $175 per person (plus tax and gratuity) which includes the maki class, the 10-course dinner, a welcome cocktail, an Uchi cookbook and a signed copy of Carissa’s cookbook, “Seriously, So Good.”
