“The newly renovated and rebranded Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort & Villas will introduce guests and members to an elevated level of hospitality,” says Susan Santiago, President, U.S. and Canada, Hyatt, in a press release. “Located in a key destination for leisure and business travelers looking to experience the best of Coachella Valley, the refreshed resort will help guests celebrate magnificent moments and create memorable experiences throughout their stay.”

The centerpiece of the resort’s guest experience is its popular pool area. The revamped Grand Hyatt Indian Wells offers exciting updates to the outdoor recreation space, including larger cabanas designed for families and groups. New dining options will be available, such as Palmadoro’s, a food truck offering pizza and Italian-inspired dishes, and a refreshed café serving poolside classics. The resort also features HyTides, the largest waterpark in the Greater Palm Springs area, which includes nine pools, two 30-ft. waterslides, a 450-ft. lazy river, and a spacious splash pad for families to enjoy.

The refreshed look of Grand Hyatt Indian Wells’ spacious rooms and villas features a neutral color palette with wood accents and mid-century modern touches. The resort’s 531 newly renovated accommodations, including 39 suites, are complete, and 43 private villas are set to open by November 2024. Guestrooms offer up to 550 square feet with a range of options like king beds, bunk beds, and spa-inspired bathrooms. Suites provide additional space for families, featuring separate living areas, wet bars, and private balconies with stunning views. The luxury villas will offer exclusive amenities such as private backyards with hot tubs or plunge pools, kitchenettes, and access to an adults-only spa, along with personalized concierge service.

The Grand Hyatt Indian Wells rebrand introduces two new dining options, Tía Carmen and Carmocha, created in collaboration with acclaimed chef Angelo Sosa. With over 25 years of culinary expertise, including work in top kitchens worldwide and under renowned chefs like Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Chef Sosa brings a bold and unique approach to these restaurants. Tía Carmen, named after Sosa’s aunt, celebrates the Southwest’s local culture and flavors with a modern Californian twist. Carmocha offers a global small plates menu inspired by what Sosa imagines his aunt would create after traveling the world. Additionally, the resort’s lobby marketplace has been updated with an all-day dining option featuring a coffee bar, sandwiches, snacks, and beverages for casual grab-and-go or sit-down meals. All of these new dining spaces are beautiful and contemporary to match the rest of the property’s renovation.
