The Skin Cancer Foundation Screenings with Dr. Melanie Palm

The Skin Cancer Foundation is partnering with local board-certified dermatologist, Melanie Palm, MD, to bring free skin cancer screenings to San Diego on Thursday, July 6, via a traveling 38-ft. RV at the Sun Bum Office & Concept Store.
The Skin Cancer Foundation expects 10,950 new cases of melanoma, one of the deadliest forms of skin cancer, will be diagnosed in California in 2023. As the weather heats up in time for summer, The Skin Cancer Foundation and Dr. Palm hope this free community service will encourage San Diegans to get their skin checked and practice safe sun protection throughout the season and beyond.
Screening take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants will also receive educational materials and sun protection samples.
