Hometown: Long Beach, California

First Job: Slinging hot dogs at Wienerschnitzel.

Favorite ways to spend time in California: I love hiking in nature and going to sports games.

Your biggest accomplishment and why: Completing the BAR 5 program in New York, an intensive hospitality and spirits course. The five-day program consists of grueling 12-hour days with a written and practical exam. It expanded my capabilities and allowed me to bring cutting-edge learning to our unique cocktail program at The Rex.

Biggest obstacle you’ve overcome: Helping my family grow out of poverty and laying the foundation for future generations to come.

Someone who inspires you and why: Kobe Bryant. He worked hard to turn his dreams into reality.

Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Stay humble and try to learn something new every day.

Favorite quote: “Be a master of your technique, but don’t let the technique define you.” —David Wondrich

Something someone would be surprised to learn about you: English was my second language.

What makes someone fabulous: When I think of someone fabulous, I think of someone cultured in multiple facets of life. Someone who wears many hats, is well-spoken and most importantly, serves with good intentions.
