Communal, Southern California’s go-to spot for everything local, from its fresh floral arrangements to its artisanal coffee and goods, has just launched its newest addition: a monthly community-driven wine club.
With multiple locations across Southern California, including Oceanside, South Park and North Park, Communal is a beloved spot for local creatives by offering a curated selection of artisanal goods, coffees, fresh floral arrangements and, most importantly, a delicious lineup of natural and biodynamic wines. Luckily for locals, Communal has just officially launched a wine club that will feature the shop’s top wine picks every month.
Guests who join the newly launched wine club will be granted access to wines hand selected by Communal’s founder, Jen Byard, and will include her favorite wines. Members can expect skin-contact orange wines, crisp whites, aromatic reds and exciting lesser-known bottles from renowned regions.
Memberships to the Communal wine club are both flexible and customizable. Each option can be personalized to fit each member’s needs, including the membership duration and quantity of the monthly bottles received. All wine club members will receive a 10 percent off discount in-store, and members with a six- or 12-month subscription will receive a Glass Pass, granting them a complimentary glass of wine or extra monthly bottles.
Other perks of being a member include exclusive gifts in each monthly box and an invitation to monthly pick-up parties hosted every third Wednesday of the month. The pick-up parties will consist of small bites and tastings of all wine club wines. The club hopes to bring the community together over good wine and good company.
The Communal wine club starts at $165 for three months with two bottles of wine, but varies in price depending on membership duration and desired bottle amount.
