The menu at San Laurel effortlessly marries Spain’s culinary innovations and bold flavors with the freshest produce found at Southern California farmers’ markets. Expect to find shared plates that are tantalizing for the eyes and taste buds, using sustainable ingredients.

For starters, some highlights include the elegant “beefsteak” tomato tartare, a lobster salpicon and, our personal favorite, the hiramasa crudo. This crudo is made with the freshest ingredients including buttermilk leche de tigre, basil-cucumber caviar, pickled blueberries, Fresno chili, herb oil and lime – a symphony of flavors in the mouth.

The rack of lamb is one of the most popular and heartiest dishes on the menu. If you fancy steak, the wagyu flat iron or the ribeye that serves two are sure to please. The beef is from Blackhawk Farms in Kentucky and is cooked to perfection. An unexpected must-try dish on the San Laurel menu is the wild mushrooms in Laurel cream. Even those who typically don’t enjoy mushrooms will find this to be delightful.

Miguel Lancha, the mastermind behind San Laurel’s cocktail creations, reinvents timeless classics like the Pisco Sour and Mai Tai, infusing them with a modern flair. Additionally, he introduces inventive libations such as the Watermelon Report, a vodka-based concoction that delivers a refreshing punch. The cocktail lineup also offers a diverse selection of original zero-ABV cocktails, including the clever Nod to the Old Fashioned and the tropical Coconut Chatter, which provides a sophisticated alcohol-free experience. Complementing these libations is the curated wine list spotlighting cool-climate, refreshing wines sourced from California, the West Coast, Spain and beyond.
