We’re screaming because Scoop San Diego Ice Cream Festival is returning for its fourth year to serve up delicious frozen dessert for a great cause. The annual event takes place June 26.
Event-goers can enjoy samples from more than 25 San Diego-based ice cream and gelato shops, like MooTime Creamery, Baked Bear, Holy Paleta and Gelati & Peccati, all under the California sunshine in North Park on Sunday, June 26, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
New to this year’s festival is the VIP Ice Cream Lounge, which will allow guests to talk to ice cream and gelato chefs and enjoy exclusive flavors created specifically for the event. For those with furry friends, some shops will be scooping dog-friendly ice cream so they can indulge too!
The cherry on top of the event is that 100 percent of the net proceeds will be donated to Alpha Project for the Homeless. Scoop San Diego is a nonprofit organization that uses ice cream to fundraise for a local nonprofit dedicated to serving communities in need.
General admission tickets are $35 and VIP Ice Cream Lounge tickets are $75. To purchase tickets and for more information about Scoop San Diego, visit www.scoopsandiego.org.
