Favorite ways to spend your free time in CA: I love California’s natural landscapes. I love hidden swimming holes, the rugged Sierra Nevada mountains and the Redwoods. I am also very passionate about jiu-jitsu!
Your biggest accomplishment and why: My wife and children. I am lucky in love and we have five beautiful children. They are the source of my happiness, pride and hope.
The biggest obstacle you overcame: I founded a California-based biotech company in Silicon Valley doing advanced human stem cell research work and built it up into a profitable business with multiple patents, advanced IP, international exports and honing in on FDA clinical trials.
Someone who inspires you and why: I am inspired by entrepreneurs and jiu-jitsu enthusiasts like Jocko Willink and Lex Fridman. I love to hear how they incorporate their love for grappling martial arts into their business mindset.
Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Learn to be comfortable with ambiguity.

Something someone would be surprised to learn about you: I have zero social media presence (aside from a LinkedIn account) and am perfectly happy that way.
What makes someone fabulous: Integrity. I am a naturally curious person, and I get easily sucked in by anyone’s stories, fictional or not. However, the people I always gravitate to over time are the ones who are honest and mean what they say.
