First job: I used to be a building material purchaser before I got married and became a housewife/homemaker.
Favorite ways to spend your free time in CA: I enjoy hiking, visiting local vineyards, trying out new restaurants with friends, going to the movies and volunteering at animal shelters.
Your biggest accomplishment and why: I’ve made two award-winning independent feature films, both of which will be released this year.
The biggest obstacle you overcame: No one would listen to my pitch until I got to know someone prominent in the industry—it took years.
Someone who inspires you and why: I met a guru in India during a pilgrimage trip with my mom. He manifested a gold chain from the palm of his hand right in front of me. Since then, I’ve realized my purpose—I want to be a great illusionist and entertain.
Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Don’t ever give up. Your break may come tomorrow or even this evening. Keep trying and keep going!

Something someone would be surprised to learn about you: I composed music for both of my films and I won a Crystal Pine—ISFMF International Sound & Film Music Festival award for one of the best original film scores. I was also nominated for the award at the Burbank International Film Festival.
