New Cavallo Point Dining Experiences

Adventure awaits at Cavallo Point, a prime location for Golden Gate getaways and an assortment of Bay Area activities. Now, thanks to the additions of Sula, Sula Lounge and Farley, this luxurious lodge has opened the doors to three new restaurant concepts to revamp its dining experiences.

It’s no surprise that Cavallo Point is a classic and timeless destination. Here, guests are welcome to take advantage of the stunning, seaside setting while savoring delectable dishes with local influences. Through history, landscape and perspective, Cavallo Point’s dining experience is synonymous with the Bay Area lifestyle. Diners get a unique opportunity to take in the pastoral scenery of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area as well as San Francisco’s famous skyline. Now, the new additions of Sula, Sula Lounge and Farley take this one-of-a-kind dining experience to another level.

Sula

First, Sula will feature a sophisticated and stylish atmosphere that combines the property’s military history with a fresh, contemporary vibe. The mouthwatering menu for this new restaurant was created by Executive Chef Michael Garcia and seamlessly marries tastes from France, Spain, Greece and other Mediterranean nations with Californian flair. Some standout items include: the liberty duck confit with porcini risotto, a wagyu filet with roast aubergine and kabocha squash, as well as the charred Monterey octopus with fennel confit and preserved lemon. In addition, the dessert menu offers deliciously sweet delights like coffee Parisian flan and an orange blossom olive oil cake with whipped ricotta, candied citrus and hazelnuts. Creatively concocted drinks that highlight small-batch distillers and vintage wines from all over the world are the perfect accompaniment to Sula’s culinary offerings. Sula is open Tuesday to Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m.

At the same time, Sula Lounge is a hotspot for meeting and eating exquisite cuisine in a beautifully timeless setting. With a vibrant social atmosphere, this lounge is ideal for a seaside retreat from your daily life. Guests can sample, share and sip the finest that the Bay Area has to offer. From superb seafood-forward small dishes to a carefully curated wine list and countless bubblies and cocktails, this is the place to experience California flavors like no other. Also, be on the lookout for daring yet delicious dishes like grilled uni butter oysters and wagyu steak tartare, alongside other masterpieces that demonstrate a refined interpretation of the region’s cultural mashup. Sula Lounge is open daily from 4 to 11 p.m.

Farley

Last, but certainly not least, Farley makes its debut as a refreshingly chic American bistro, dishing up warm and comforting flavors with contemporary twists and a farm-to-fork focus. Farley impresses its guests with new-and-improved versions of daily favorites. Beginning with a hot-take on a buttermilk chicken sandwich, and leading into a unique portobello benedict, this revitalizing restaurant is full of surprises when it comes to what’s formerly familiar. Additionally, the bar will be brimming with regional microbrews, handcrafted wines and creative cocktails made with local botanicals. Farley is open daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch on weekends.

“We’re honored to welcome our guests and the community to the enhanced culinary experience at Cavallo Point, creating long-lasting memories that will invite them back time and again,” says Cavallo Point General Manager Martin Nicholson in a press release. “Our restaurants are at the very core of our guest journey and go far beyond being just a meal; they are a culinary adventure into Bay Area flavors that perfectly balance innovation with timeless classics honoring our land and storied history.”
