Father’s Day Dining

Whether you’re celebrating in San Diego, Los Angeles or somewhere in between, treat Dad to a day of deliciousness this Father’s Day (June 20). And throw in a side of baseball, golf or cornhole, too.

Before the game, raise a pint to Pops at Nason’s Beer Hall, the ideal pre-game hub with 23 big-screen TV’s and 24 beers on tap. Snack on animal-style tots, Nason’s chicken wings, pulled pork waffle fries and more.

Executive Chef Aaron Obregon has curated a delectable Father’s Day brunch experience at Inn at The Mission San Juan Capistrano’s signature Ysidora Restaurant and Lounge, available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The prix-fixe menu is priced at $70 per person and features savory dishes of saffron-broth clams and mussels, Spanish octopus, wood-fired short rib tosta flatbread, butterscotch bread pudding and more. Post-brunch, challenge Dad to a game of cornhole.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Front Yard at The Garland in North Hollywood, treat Dad to the likes of homemade Pop Tarts, short rib hash and a stacked beer, wine and cocktail list (with names like Say Aloe To My Little Friend, with aloe simply syrup) this Father’s Day.
