Mission Pacific Hotel

Mission Pacific Hotel Opens in Oceanside Beach

Mission Pacific Hotel, a JdV by Hyatt hotel has opened its doors in North County San Diego. Pacific views, an amenity-packed beach kiosk and a now-dessert bar housed in a beach cottage seen in “Top Gun” make the long list of what guests can expect.

With its laidback vide that is undeniably Southern Californian, Mission Pacific Hotel is now open in Oceanside Beach on 700 feet of beachfront property with 161 high-touch guest rooms, including 38 suites. To take in Pacific panoramas, visitors can find a spot on the hip rooftop and take a dip in the pool and hot tub, surrounded by private cabanas and lounge seating. For even more aquatic action, an exclusive beach kiosk provides guests with everything needed for a day on the shore, like chairs, umbrellas, surfboard rentals and more–even flip-flops and sunscreen!

Mission Pacific Hotel is brimming with dining options with something to suit any taste, whether you’re seeking surf-casual or fine dining. Valle, a Guadalupe Valley Kitchen will debut this summer as the hotel’s signature restaurant with a spacious outdoor dining veranda and California culinary inspiration rooted in the traditions of the Guadalupe Valley, The Rooftop at Mission Pacific is Oceanside Beach’s first rooftop bar, where guests can enjoy sunset views and a range of specialty cocktails, craft beers and inventive cuisine. High/Low is an easy, breezy oceanfront café dishing up expertly crafted bites with an emphasis on natural, fresh ingredients. Charlie’s, a decadent dessert bar, is found in the transformed Graves House, the beach cottage seen in “Top Gun.” Built nearly 140 years ago, this piece of cinematic history was moved for the first time to Mission Pacific for its $1 million restoration.

At the heart of the Mission Pacific Hotel is its robust list of local experiences, like the “Skate School” program that pays homage to Oceanside’s skateboard scene and the “Après Surf” concept at The Rooftop, which embraces Oceanside’s surf culture. Plus, guests can take in vibrant artwork throughout the hotel, selected in partnership with the Oceanside Museum of Art.
