St. Patrick’s Day Festival

Dublin

Experience Ireland without leaving the country at the 38th St. Patrick’s Day Festival in Dublin. The event will feature three stages with Irish music and traditional dances, authentic food and beverages (including sponsored Guinness sips), over 250 art vendors, an Irish marketplace, roaming leprechauns, carnival rides, petting zoos and so much more to experience. The festival will take place on St. Paddy’s Day, March 17, and admission is free.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Irish Festival 

San Diego

Join Balboa Park on Saturday, March 12, for its annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Irish Festival. The event kicks off at 10:30 a.m. with over 120 parade displays, live music across three stages, Celtic food, craft fairs, a beer garden and a place for your kids to have fun and learn more about Irish culture. The event is free and will feature a giveaway to a trip to Dublin, Ireland, to some lucky attendees.

St. Patrick’s Day Bash at The Shamrock Irish Pub 

Murrieta

It should come as no surprise that The Shamrock Irish Pub in Murrieta is hosting its own bash in honor of the green holiday on March 17. Like every other year, the pub will offer its traditional Irish fare, ice-cold green brews, live music, bagpipe players and much more fun for just $20 per person.

St. Patrick’s Day Beer Crawl

Benicia

Get your celebration started early on the Saturday before the holiday with the help of Benicia’s St. Patrick’s Day Beer Crawl. The event encourages guests to wear green (if they don’t want to be pinched) and will feature craft beer tastings from local bars and breweries on Benicia’s main street. Tickets are $25 per person, and the fun starts at 1 p.m.

Rockin’ Shamrock Run

Santa Monica

The Rockin’ Shamrock Run is a free event in Santa Monica where runners have the option to run or walk a 5K, 10K or 15K alongside the beachfront. Everyone who participates in the run will receive a medal and an Irish-themed goodie bag to take home at the end, and little ones are encouraged to come along with you for the trek. The run will take place Sunday, March 13, at 7:30 a.m.

St. Paddy’s Celebrations at Strad Meadery

Rancho Cordova

If you are looking for a more intimate holiday bash, Strad Meadery in Rancho Cordova has you covered. The locally-owned destination is offering its meadery to help locals celebrate St. Paddy’s Day in style on Saturday, March 19. The fun will feature live music, Pappa’s Food Truck, lots of vendors, green adult slushies, treats, and activities for the little ones too.
