The Underground Donut Tour (a k a the World’s Best Donut Tour) has launched its next US tour in Santa Monica. For the past seven years, the sweet experience has ran successful tours in Canada, UK, Ireland and across the nation–from New York City to Las Vegas.
“We’re so excited to be launching in sunny Santa Monica. Los Angeles and Santa Monica have such a thriving doughnut scene, and we’re so thrilled to be a part of it now,” says Jeff Woelker, founder of the Underground Donut Tour, in a press release.
Tour-goers can expect walking to four of the most interesting and delicious doughnut shops in Downtown Santa Monica (along Wilshire Boulevard, the 3rd Street Promenade, the beachfront and the Santa Monica Pier). During the tour–in addition to digging into the sweet treats–the experts share the history of each location, which include Randy’s Donuts and Sidecar Doughnuts.
Tours started in early December and run year-round, every day of the week starting at 10 a.m.
Tickets to the Underground Donut Tour in Santa Monica are sold on a first-come, first-served basis; $40 for adults and $25 for kids 10 and under.
