Pali Wine Co. in San Diego

Experience more than just a tasting of California’s Central Coast world-class wines at Pali Wine Co.’s San Diego outpost, one of five California locations.

In 2005, the Perr family set out to find the perfect pour. As budding wine enthusiasts, Tim and Judy Perr had a vision that was more than a glass half full; they embarked on reimagining the underappreciated wine country of California’s Central Coast.

Curating blends from organic and sustainably sourced grapes, three unique Santa Barbara-based brands were born, covering the full spectrum of dry to sweet and whites to reds.

In tandem with the creation of the Pali Wine Co., Tower 15 and Neighborhood Winery labels, the Perrs introduced the Central Coast wine tasting experience to Southern California through five Pali Wine Co. outposts: Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Anaheim, Lompoc and San Diego.

Little Italy, a neighborhood known for its history and culture, hosts the San Diego tasting room. The venue’s modern look, open concept and dreamy patio lighting welcome all. Whether it’s the first stop of a girls’ night out on India Street or the closing to a memorable first date, Pali Wine Co. sets both the Sauvignon and the scene.

The entertainment is as plentiful as the bottles. From Thursday Trivia on the back patio to Jazz Brunch on Saturday mornings, guests are guaranteed an interactive experience.

As for the wine itself – well, there is no question that the Perr family delivers on a solid pour. From a flight of the traditional Pali Wine Co. blends to a custom tasting with the Central Coast Experience, patrons can choose their own adventure based on their personal preference. For those confident in their pour of choice, full glasses and bottles are available as well.

It would be remiss to not mention the Perfect Pairings menu. Charred cauliflower, braised artichokes and Kumai oysters are all to be dished out alongside the drinks; however, nothing tops the Solid Oak Sampler. A charcuterie board like no other, Pali Wine Co. takes a wine bar must-have and curates its own palatable platter with aged-goat cheese, herb tomatoes, country ham, spiced honey and homemade peanut brittle.
