Radisson Blu Anaheim Luxury Hotel

The first West Coast Radisson Blu hotel is the newly-opened Radisson Blu Anaheim in California. Radisson Blu is the upscale brand of the Radisson Hotel Group and is known for its stylish spaces and thoughtful details throughout. The Radisson Blu Anaheim is no exception, as we were blown away by the attention to detail.

With the hotel less than two miles from Disneyland, it naturally attracts guests who are interested in the famed theme park. Catering to the fans of the Disney brand was a must, but Radisson Blu Anaheim found a truly thoughtful and stylish way to incorporate Disney favorites. You’ll find unique and subtle touches throughout the hotel, from obvious pieces like Stormtroopers statues on the main level to lamps with gold duck feet on the 12th-floor hallway. More hidden homages to Disney are the light versus dark banks of elevators and art in the Firelake Grill House that are color palettes for specific movies – it is a fun game to try to figure out the movies that match the color palettes!

Also speaking to the thought that went into this hotel is how it caters to both families and adults traveling without kids. The BluSky fine dining restaurant on the 12th floor of the hotel makes for a lovely adult dinner and an adults-only pool on the rooftop offers a quiet respite.

For families traveling with their children, there is a kid-friendly pool with a splash pad on the first floor and 136 of the 326 rooms have bunk beds. The bunk bed guestrooms feature a bright, joyful color palette while the other rooms feature the subtler tones found in a Southern California sunset.

In addition to BluSky Restaurant & Bar, there is also a more casual dining option for the whole family on the first floor of the hotel, FireLake Grill House & Cocktail Bar, which is great for breakfast or dinner. Blu Marketplace is a grab-and-go option downstairs that offers a delicious array of gourmet snacks, fresh salads, deli sandwiches and Lavazza Coffee. It is the perfect place to grab a coffee and pastry on your way out the door in the morning, or enjoy an easy lunch to go or in the cafe.

The gift shop off the lobby of the hotel is a destination in itself, offering Disney apparel and accessories that you cannot find at even Disneyland itself. Locals and tourists alike visit the hotel just to peruse Main Street Mercantile, picking up Mickey Mouse ears, Disney-themed backpacks and more.

The Anaheim hotel’s location is ideally situated just four blocks away from Disneyland and minutes from the Honda Center and Angel Stadium, offering guests ample options for dining, entertainment, sporting events and more.
