Favorite ways to spend your free time in CA: I love the warm weather so when it’s over 65 and I have free time, you’ll find me outside. Near home, I’m either gardening, doing a quick Yoga with Adriene video or walking our cat, Prince Mackey, on his leash to greet the neighborhood (he’s quite the popular guy). Our neighborhood is pretty rad, and our little family enjoys walking or biking to our favorite places with Mack in tow – he’s got a comfy backpack. I love being at the beach but not so much the frigid water.
Your biggest accomplishment and why: Becoming a mom by having my daughter. It was a long journey down the infertility road but it’s even more amazing and more challenging than I thought – without a doubt worth every struggle.
The biggest obstacle you overcame: Post-partum depression.
Someone who inspires you and why: I find inspiration from so many. From my amazing family and friends that motivate me, make me feel accepted and see the best in me, to those people you happen on upon by chance that are transparent, capable of showing vulnerability and utterly optimistic.
Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: You can’t control if/when someone will book with you and you are not defined by how many bookings you do or don’t get.

Something someone would be surprised to learn about you: I’m a sort of ‘Jen of Many Trades’ if you will. I’ve been a forklift operator, help desk technician, urban planner, project manager and fashion stylist before this, just to name a few.
What makes someone fabulous: Being who they are without compromise.
