Techo Beso, a rooftop bar and restaurant inspired by the beaches of Tulum, opened at the AC Hotel Gaslamp in Downtown San Diego. Techo Beso serves up delicious craft cocktails, small plates inspired by Mexican cuisine and stunning views of the San Diego Downtown Gaslamp Quarter.
The rooftop features a pool and a main bar space, allowing guests to enjoy an escape above the bustle of the city. Acclaimed designer John M. Sofio thoughtfully designed Techo Beso after spending time in Tulum to study the city’s atmosphere.

The food program at Techo Beso is inspired by Mexican cuisine. Menu highlights include rock shrimp ceviche, brisket tacos, corn salad and chicken quesadilla. The beverage program features innovative cocktails like the Temple of the Frescoes with Avuá Cachaça, Rockey’s botanical liquor and coconut cream; the Maya Blue made with Del Maguey mezcal, blood orange and grapefruit; and the Devil Don’t Know with pisco and pineapple gum syrup. Techo Beso also offers classics like the Yucatan 75, Espresso Martini and Quitana Spritz.
Techo Beso is an all-season destination, inviting guests to gather for rooftop views, cocktails, live music and poolside lounging. It is open Wednesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. and Sunday until 8 p.m.
