For the first time in-person since 2019, the 14th Annual San Diego Beer Week, presented by the San Diego Brewers Guild, starts Friday, Nov. 4. The 10-day celebration features events being held throughout the San Diego County at participating breweries, bars, restaurants and more.
A virtual kick-off toast will take place at all Guild member breweries at 7 p.m. on Nov. 4, with Guild Fest being hosted Saturday at Surf Sports Park in Del Mar. More than 60 independent breweries are expected for 2022 Guild Fest, which celebrates San Diego Beer Week and the independent brewing community that makes it all possible.
Guild Fest will include food trucks, live music from Totally 80’s Band and Paging The 90s, and a selection of of beer alternatives, like wine and kombucha. The event is 21-plus only and parking is available onsite for $12. Designated driver tickets will be sold at the door for $20.
Guild Fest tickets are on sale at www.sdbeer.com/guildfest. General admission tickets (1 to 4 p.m.) are $55 and include unlimited samples from more than 60 breweries. Early admission tickets (noon to 4 p.m.) are $70 and include the unlimited samples as well as an added hour of specialty beers for that first hour.
The Beer Garden at The Lodge at Torrey Pines is the closing event on Sunday, Nov. 13, featuring 28 breweries paired with eats from 14 renowned San Diego chefs. Tickets are $145 and are available at www.sdbeer.com/beergarden.
