While staying true to its Spanish Revival aesthetic, the new designs at the recently refreshed Rancho Bernardo Inn integrate seamlessly into the resort’s new luxury guest experience.
Located in North County San Diego, Rancho Bernardo Inn has undergone and officially completed a renovation of its 265-acre property. The renovation features refreshed guest spaces, including 286 rooms and 41 suites, and resort amenities and activities to provide each visitor with the ultimate rest.

Each new space features light wood elements, a warm-toned color palette and bronze accents. Pieces of Rancho Bernardo Inn’s signature Spanish Revival aesthetic can be found in each room, with traditional details like curved headboards, counter stone edges and linen selections paying homage to the original design. Modern amenities like opulent lighting fixtures, case goods and electric mirrors are seen in guest rooms and suites, as well.
The alfresco spaces and terraces now have refreshed furniture. Plus, fire tables and seating have been added to first-floor Studio Suites for saving the pleasant temperatures, privacy and views of tranquil gardens.
In celebration of its 60th anniversary and the completed renovations, Rancho Bernardo Inn offers a new package that includes an overnight stay in a newly refreshed suite; $100 credit to an on-site dining destination; European spa items; seed packets of herbs from the chef’s garden; and a Torn Ranch Chocolate Golf Ball with a golf ball-sized truffle filled with a Champagne ganache.
